production: 

man of steel (superman):

As a group we decided between each other who was going to take up the main characters in the swede.  man of steel (superman) was played by william mensah because we felt that he could perform this role in the best way but also because william enjoyed reading the comic's about superman in his earlier childhood so he was able to adapt his past knowledge from the comics into acting the role of superman.

  

other characters:

shah iqram played the officer in the swede. we took inspiration of this from videos on youtube based on how military sergeants treat their soldiers. 

lolade arowolo played the interviewer. we felt she best fitted this role because she was confident in doing that particular scene and got inspiration from the movie itself.

ozge ozberk played the assistant officer. we took great inspiration from the movie and used the tilt shoot to  show the uniform that the officers had to wear but also to show the characters personality.

scripting:

we took inspiration from the actual movie but put a modern twist on some lines. for example in the scene where the satellite gets crashed. we changed the price of which the satellite actually cost. we also adapted some scenes by introducing some background music. for example when our swede begins there is  a song playing which is titled "stronger" by an artist called Kanye west. we chose to use this song because it  has a direct message to which we associate superman to be.
